You Can Always Find Happiness

It was my first time joining youth camp but I came there not as delegate but as a staff, a part of media team. I actually envy my friends who enjoyed the praise and worship, has a complete notes of sermons, have played games and has a lot of resting time. They really had fun I witnessed that, while me, I am tired the whole day running here and there, waiting for the pictures taken and edit the slideshow for that day.

I was not able to join any game, activity or a sport. I will admit I was not able to enjoy the youth camp just like how others did, but little did I know God just made this event a way for me to learn something I really want and to make me feel appreciated just like I always want to.

Two days before youth camp sir faith asked me to join the media team because he saw the video recap I made for the DVBS, I really felt that "kilig" cause someone appreciated my work, which I didn't intend to impress, but just to show how the kids enjoyed the event.

While I was in youth camp I was able to learn the basics of operating the sound system, and I really had a lot of fun and forgot all the sadness I felt because I was not able to hang out with my friends on youth camp. It was really something big for me because I really want to learn how to operate the sound system and well know I know basics today hahaha.

Lastly the picture included in this post, well aside from music I really have a hobby of taking pictures and has visions in my head but hardly getting into life, but finally I captured a beautiful picture which really brought my vision to life.

One thing I really did learn in youth camp was no matter what you do, you still have a reason to be happy. Not because you have a work or responsibility it doesn't mean you have no reason to be happy. Not because you have not experience the same excitement that others have it means you did not have fun, you have your own way of finding happiness, and it is up to you if you will appreciate it.
