Again

I opened my eyes

Everything was blur. Where am I?

Am I in heaven? Or is this hell?

Its dark in here, I can feel wind passing

But it was far from where I am.

Minutes have passed, slowly I can see things clearly

I was shocked; I was in the same tower I was in before I jump.

Why am I here again?

I looked around, nothing has change,

I hurriedly went to the first window and looked down

They are still the same person, who we’re burdened and sad.

Why?

I sat down, and looked at the people

Am I their guardian angel?

It seems like it’s my duty to take care of them.

Footsteps are getting louder and louder

I looked up and saw a man

He smiled and sat beside me

He didn’t speak, but his presence made me feel something

With him my worries vanished

My heart was filled with joy

Who are you?

I stared at him, and he looked at me

He’s still smiling

He looked up and smiled at me again

No words are coming out from his mouth

But he’s telling me to climb again

“There’s no way out, I’ll stay here”

He didn’t speak

He stood and took my hand, and started taking steps

His face is saying he’ll be with me

So I took my steps with him.

It’s fun to be with him,

Though I’m trapped, he became my source of happiness.

It’s a long journey, but I’m not tired

Because he’s here.

I’m running, we’re running

A race to the top of the building.

It was fun, but my legs are giving up so I stopped.

I catch my breath, because I can’t keep up.

You stop, and looked at me

I told you to continue, but you ran toward me and hold my hand.

You smiled and waited.

We ran again, but this time you are holding my hand.

I can feel your love

Your care

I feel secure, that I am not alone this time

You are telling me that you’ll be there

You telling me that you’ll never leave me

And I’ll hold on to you

Because I believe in you.

The door is now in front of us,

I looked at you and you smile, telling me to open it,

So I did.

I was shocked, it wasn’t the same dark sky,

It was full of stars, giving me hope that I’ll escape this tower.

I let go from you hand and looked at the stars.

“It’s so beautiful!”

Then I looked at you

But you’re gone

Where are you?

I looked and roam around the rooftop,

I even went inside the tower again,

But you’re nowhere to be found.

I’m alone again.

I sat at the edge of the roof top looking down

If I’ll jump, everything will be the same again

What should I do?

I have no one to run.

I heard footsteps, so I looked back

And there was you

I smiled

I thought you left me

But you didn’t wore the smile you used to wear

“What happened? Where did you go?”

“Sorry” you said,

And you pushed me,

As I took my journey down to earth, I looked at you

I can’t control my emotion

I’m crying,

You are my reason to fight,

But you pushed me to destruction.

How could someone who made you smile, can also make you cry?
