Seeking Wisdom

A few months ago my journey as a college student has already started. I met so many people and so glad that my block mates were really unquestionably talented, skillful, and knowledgeable of things that I cannot do and know. But that’s the problem.

Most of my block mates admire the knowledge and not wisdom. Often times they are confused between the difference of an intelligent man and a wise man, they often thought they are the same. But in reality, there is a thick fine line between the two.

An intelligent man speaks knowledge while a wise man speaks wisdom. Knowledge is mere facts while wisdom inspires and changes people.

Knowledge can be seen from books, school, television, and other information channels, but wisdom only comes from God.

I hate it when I see people admire someone who assumes that they speak wisdom when they all depend on their knowledge. If you are a person who is full of knowledge you have the right to teach inside the classroom but never teach people what to do in their life, because knowledge seldom succeeds, it will always be wisdom who will take you to the successful end.

Let’s stop admiring knowledge because everyone can have that, but wisdom comes to people who are willing to learn and who is willing to be corrected by our Almighty God.

"Stop seeking knowledge, start seeking wisdom"
